The automotive and mobility R&D competitiveness cluster appointed yesterday a new General Manager at its Board of Directors on April 8th. Specialist of the automotive industry and architect of the cluster’s growth since its creation, Marc Charlet will continue the ongoing transformation of Mov’eo in accordance with its 2013-2018 roadmap, enhancing the innovative projects generation dynamics, the support of its SME members to market and strengthening the cluster’s international presence.
Marc Charlet, 38, succeeds Jacques Chauvet who held this position since 2012. Mechanical Engineer and graduated with a Master Degree in Business Administration, he made the first part of his career at the SIA (French Automotive Engineers Society), where he was responsible for the facilitation of expert committees and the organization of scientific and technical events. He joined the cluster since its creation, in 2006, to animate the Strategic Business Areas (350 projects approved to date) and international relations (30 partnership missions, 150 accompaniments, 2 European projects). Deputy General Manager since 2013, he contributes to the establishment of the 3.0 roadmap, participates in the dynamics of SME grouping development and launches the Mov’eo Development service offering to accelerate marketing innovations members.
The appointment of Marc Charlet to Mov’eo General Management is part of the continued action of the cluster at the service of its members, the deployment of its ambitious roadmap and its willingness to turn “made in France” innovation into competitive products on the market to confirm Mov’eo as a key player in the sector. Based on a young, dynamic and efficient team, he will be committed to strengthen the role of Mov’eo as a facilitator, trusted third-party and facilitator of the French automotive et mobility ecosystem.
His expertise in collaborative innovation, the automotive industry, technology, R&D projects and international networks is a valuable asset to forge lasting partnerships and continue the cluster’s development.
